A brand new building, hosting luxury holiday facilities, is arriving to Millom, Cumbria. Wyldecrest Parks, owner of Port Haverigg Marina Village Holiday Park, has just announced the company’s plans to keep developing and improving the site in 2016.
The company, one of the largest park home operators in the UK, is about to build a Leisure Complex which includes, amongst other facilities, a Jacuzzi, an indoor heated swimming pool, a gym, a café and a shop, a Turkish steam room and also a brand new reception and offices for the holiday park – and that’s only on ground level.
A floor above, 5 brand new luxury holiday apartments will be emerging. And, on the roof terrace, an open glass area featuring a function room and a lounge bar, also ready to be used for special occasions such as weddings and birthday parties, will amaze the guests with some of the most spectacular views. Wyldecrest Parks is also planning to open the doors of some of these facilities to the local community.
“This is a massive project and I couldn’t be more delighted for moving forward with this huge development”, says the Wyldecrest Chairman. “It will create more jobs, it will open new leisure facilities to the community, it will help boosting the whole tourism in the area…it’s another fantastic attractive, not only for our park but for Millom itself”, Alfie Best states.
One of the Wyldecrest’s soon to be flagship Holiday Parks has been under an enormous refurbishment programme since the company has acquired the site – that includes, amidst others, new tarmac roads throughout the park, new plot bases and homes, a brand new children’s play area, an amazing footpath alongside the lake and the reconstruction of a miniature railway.
The nationwide company, which is the only one ISO 9001 accredited within its business sector, has recently won the 2015 LondonlovesExcellence Retail & Property Award. With both residential and holiday parks spread across England, Scotland and Wales, Wyldecrest Parks plans to soon become the largest park home operator in the country.
